In India, Xiaomi India has just launched the Mi A3, the latest in Xiaomi’s user popular Android One device series. It’s the successor to the Mi A2 launched earlier last year, and as a Mi A-series device, Android also runs full stock.
The Mi A3 features a 6.08-inch Super AMOLED Dot Drop Display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and HD+ resolution (1560 u-720). Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 protects this display, which should make it more scratch-resistant and the like. The screen is also embedded with an authentication in-screen fingerprint detector.
The Mi A3 is driven by the latest Snapdragon 665 SoC from Qualcomm, featuring 8 Kryo 260 CPU cores and a 610 GPU from Adreno. The Mi A3 comes in two different configurations in terms of storage, a variant of 4 GB + 64 GB and a variant of 6 GB + 128 GB. These options can be expanded to up to 256 GB via microSD.
The Mi A3 can be regarded a remarkable upgrade from its predecessor in the camera department because it features AI-powered Triple rear cameras configuration consisting of a main camera sensor of 48MP. The sensor Sony IMX 586 comes with a f/1.79 aperture. It is also combined with an ultra-wide-angle 8MP camera with a f/2.2 aperture as well as a 2MP camera with depth sensing.
On the front, the Mi A3 features a selfie shooter powered by 32MP AI that sits comfortably in the phone’s knot. The selfie shooter also has a dual obligation as the authenticator for the AI Face Unlock function in addition to snapping pictures. The video recording capacities of the back cameras include, for up to 27 distinct scenes, 4K video capture at 30fps, EIS, Slow-mo recording and AI scene detection.
Everything is powered by a 4030mAh battery that supports 18W Fast Charging through Quick Charge 3.0 from Qualcomm. Unfortunately, there is no quick charger in the box, so you’ll have to get that somewhere else. You can also expect the usual slew of Android inventory characteristics such as integration with Google Assistant, as well as timely updates.
So, discuss about the pricing. The Mi A3 starts for 4 GB + 64 GB storage variant at Rs 12,999, while Rs 15,999 is priced for the 6 GB + 128 GB variant. It will be accessible for Amazon purchase as well as the own website of Xiaomi. It comes in three colors, Not Just Blue, More Than White and Kind of Grey. The new one-powered Android Mi A3’s first release is planned for August 23.
