The launch date for the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro in India, as well as their prototypes and main features, have been announced.

Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth has formally confirmed the launch date for the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro in India. The Realme 8 series will be launched in India on March 24th, as previous leaks have indicated. Sheth announced the date in a new teaser video after completing a “Drift Challenge.” In addition, official-looking teasers have unveiled main Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro specifications and designs. The Realme 8 Pro will have a 108-megapixel camera and support for 50W quick charging, whereas the Realme 8 will have a Super AMOLED monitor and a 64-megapixel AI quad-camera setup.

The Realme 8 series will launch in India on March 24th, staying true to past leaks. The company will livestream the event through official platforms like YouTube. The launch event livestream link and time are expected to be revealed in a few days.

Realme 8 series designs teased

Tipster Mukul Sharma shared the official-looking teaser photos, which have yet to appear on Flipkart or Realme.com. The Realme 8 Pro has a 108MP quad-camera setup and a 50W SuperDart fast charging solution, according to them. The Realme 8 has a 64MP quad-camera setup and a Super AMOLED monitor, on the other hand. The Pro model should also have a Super AMOLED monitor. The phones will have a square-shaped rear camera module and a corner punch-hole camera. On the back panel of both phones is the ‘Dare to Leap’ branding.

The Snapdragon 720G SoC and Snapdragon 732G chipset have been tipped for the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro, respectively. The phones will have AMOLED screens with potentially high refresh rates. Both phones are projected to have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Realme 8 is expected to come in Cyber Silver and Cyber Black, while the Realme 8 Pro will be available in Infinite Black, Infinite Blue, and Illuminating Yellow, with the latter being teased recently.
