Samsung Galaxy A50 update is based on Android 10
As per a leak, Samsung Galaxy A50 is getting the February 2021 Android security patch. The over-the-air (OTA) release is based on Android 10, and is said to be rolling out in Thailand on smartphones. The study says that the upgrade will soon be carried out on the Galaxy A50, which debuted in India in 2019, in other markets. For the Galaxy S20 FE and the Galaxy A8 (2018) smartphones in some countries, the South Korean company has already released an upgrade.
The February 2021 Android security patch for the Samsung Galaxy A50 has firmware update A505FDDU6BUAA, as per a post by SamMobile, and is based on Android 10. Samsung may have included other changes other than the new security fix, the article states. You should go to Settings > Device Changes > Check for System Updates > Download Now > Install Upgrade if you have a qualified smartphone in Thailand and want to check if the update has been rolled out for your computer.
The Samsung Galaxy S20FE and Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) have both received the new safety patch, as reported. In December 2020, the Galaxy S20 FE got the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update, so the update on this smartphone is based on Android 11. This means Samsung has been carrying out price point changes for its smartphones.
