Realme X2, Realme X’s successor, is scheduled to release on September 24 in China. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer announced plans to launch this phone on Weibo, the micro-blogging platform in China. The article confirms that on the Realme XT, which was introduced in India last week, Realme X2 will have the 64 megapixel camera. The firm also disclosed that there is going to be a selfie camera of 32 megapixels. In terms of requirements, Realme X2 appears to be a significant upgrade.
Realme X2 launch on September 24: Here is what we know so far
Realme X2 will arrive as Realme X-series, third smartphone. Last week, the company confirmed at the launch of Realme XT in India that it will launch Realme XT 730 G in December with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. But the Weibo post confirms that the first device of the company with a 32-megapixel selfie camera will be Realme X2. The leaks from China claim that Realme X2 will be an announced last week’s re-branded version of Realme XT730G.
If that turns out to be true, we look at Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G, which is a portable chipset focused on gaming. A 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a fingerprint sensor is probable to feature on the smartphone. Whether Realme cancels the pop-up selfie camera for a traditional setup needs to be seen. It is also verified to support quick charging of 30W SuperVOOC 3.0 and will pack a battery of 4,000mAh.
On the back of this smartphone 64-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor. It will be paired with ultra-wide 8-megapixel, 2-megapixel depth and macro sensors of 2-megapixel. Two storage variants are expected to be launched 6 GB + 64 GB and 8 GB + 128 GB. We could also see for the first time a 256 GB storage version. Realme X was first introduced in China and later transferred to India. Similarly, Realme X2 will be debuting first in China and making its way to India in December.
