There was a lot of data coming out all at the same moment about the Realme 5. The Realme 5 will join the Realme 5 Pro on August 20 to make their debut. A latest official tweet revealed a quad camera configuration with a 48MP sensor being the primary camera.
Earlier today, Realme India’s CEO has effectively confirmed the Realme 5 price range. The CEO suggested that next week the firm will bring “under 10k’s 1st quad-camera smartphone in the world.” INR10,000 transforms to approximately $140. This is similar to the Realme 4 price tag that arrived at INR9,999.
Although the cost is comparable to its predecessor’s, there are some important upgrades that will be the Realme 5 selling point. Besides being India’s first 48MP camera smartphone, the Realme is the first quad camera smartphone under INR10,000 in the world. The phone will also feature a strong Qualcomm chipset that will be launched in India for the first time. On GeekBench packing a Snapdragon 665 SoC, a Realme model RMX1911 emerged. This is supposed to be the 5th Realme.
Xiaomi Mi A3 is the only phone currently using a 665 Snapdragon chipset. So, although the Realme 5 is going to be India’s only device rocking the SD 665 SoC, it won’t keep that name for as long as the Mi A3 starts a few days later.
