Qualcomm Quick Charge 5 Promises to Charge The Phone 5-15 Minutes!

Qualcomm is here with Qualcomm Easy Charge 5 which is now attempting to redefine how easily system charging works. With this recent announcement, Qualcomm says the fast-charging standard is about to change because it has committed to delivering on your platform more than 100W charging speeds.

The Qualcomm Quick Charge would be able to charge a phone in just 15 minutes from 0-100%. It also promises to take your battery level in just 5 minutes from 0-50%. Qualcomm has carried out some tests that talk about a 4,500 mAh battery that takes just 5 minutes to go from 0-50 percent.

It is possible due to a dual charging system which charges by splitting the battery into 2.250 mAh cells which are then connected in series which increases their voltage. Studies also indicate support for Triple Charging. To do so, QC5 power bricks will be required to accept at least output voltages ranging from 3.3 to 20 volts, which would require 3.3 or 5 Amps or 5 + Amps in addition.

Qualcomm talked frankly about Qualcomm Quick Charge 5 by saying that in terms of performance it would be at least 70% better than Qualcomm Quick Charge 4. This means this Qualcomm Quick Charge 5 charge telephones 4 times faster than Qualcomm Quick Charge 4. Another major problem with quick charging is being heated up by phone, Qualcomm Quick Charge 5 will charge the phones 10 degrees faster than the older Quick Charge.

Qualcomm Quick Charge 5 is built on top of USB Power Delivery PPS, so it supports QC2 compliance backwards and onward. These will also work with normal USB PD apps and Apple gadgets like iPhone 7 and higher versions. Qualcomm also believed the device would be safer than mere Power Delivery.

Qualcomm Quick Charge 5 will offer 8 voltage protection rates, 3 current protection rates, 3 thermal protection levels and 3 timer protection as well as overvoltage protection at 25 V. Qualcomm, as we know, is one of the main suppliers of processors and modems, which is why many businesses rely on Qualcomm for their reliable and compatible battery and electricity. Even at present, many devices are dependent on this supplier mainly for power solutions.

It is said that Qualcomm Quick Charge 5 will be included in phones early enough, and we can expect certain devices to have Qualcomm Quick Charge 5 earliest by this year’s Q3.
