Although PUBG Mobile has become very popular it still has a PC version that is played every day by millions of users. PUBG brings new updates to the game really quickly, both in the game’s Mobile and PC versions. Since Tencent doesn’t want anybody to feel bored with the game, it is understandable. There will still be something different there. Players will experience Loot Truck, Gameplay improvements and much more with the new PUBG 8.1 update that’s live on PC now. Let’s take a look at what the PUBG 8.1 update is new on.
PUBG 8.1 Update New Additions and Gameplay Changes
PUBG has a revamped map of the Sanhok. Many of the main areas on the map were updated to boost player experience. The design of buildings in locations such as Bootcamp has changed. In Quarry there are new bridges, and Ruins has become a very large puzzle where the player may get lost.
Another big update is the ‘Loot Truck’ addition. Players will find certain trucks spawned around the globe in different garages. The player will have to smash it to get a loot from the Truck. Loot Trucks will only be available in games which are not ranked.
The survivor pass was revised appropriately after Season 8 here, and new missions were added. There are also some major changes to gameplay. Now Gas Cans can be held in the Melee weapons slot ensuring players will be saved some space in the pack. Gas can also be spilled and set on fire. Players will throw their opponents at the Gas Cans, too. Updating PUBG 8.1 also brings other optimisations to make the gameplay experience smoother and more seamless. Virtual artifacts were designed to increase CPU efficiency in the game. One of the most significant enhancements is clarity of sound on the footsteps. This will allow the players to understand better where their rivals are.
