MIUI 12 Announced In India With Updated Interface And Productivity Features

MIUI is the operating system which is implemented by all Xiaomi smartphones. Xiaomi released the MIUI 11 last year with Dark Mode and lots of new apps. Now the maker of chinese smartphones has announced MIUI 12 for India. It comes with a revamped interface and several new features in terms of style and productivity. Xiaomi has also introduced an upgraded animation engine which makes the effects of the transition very smooth. The weather app is getting an interesting update which makes the app experience more real. Xiaomi has also split the notification panel from the fast settings panel to make it more user friendly. MIUI 12 Features

Users will get the option to use Super Wallpapers using MIUI 12. The feature of the Super Wallpapers will offer high-quality recreation of official images of Mars and Earth that NASA has. Many Mars landing points will provide options to choose from. Dark Mode has been expanded with the MIUI 12, and will now be extended to most of the third-party applications that have not yet supported Dark Mode.

MIUI 12 also features a much-demanded built-in device drawer. Xiaomi added ‘Magic Clone’ to the MIUI 12 camera module, and also modified the camera app’s UI to make it easier for users to select images and shoot videos. There is also an improved privacy feature that lets users decide what they want to share and what they don’t want to share.

The MIUI 12 comes with a Universal Casting feature that will help you cast on your smartphone pretty much anything you do. A Private Casting feature is also introduced so that when you ‘re presenting it, none of your personal messages or anything else that’s private casts on the computer.

The newly added floating window function allows you to respond to important messages while simultaneously using a specific device. It will allow you to perform multitasking in the most efficient way. There’s also an Ultra Battery Saver mode that will give you 5 hours of additional battery capacity.

As of this month, the MIUI 12 will be rolled out to Mi 10, Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro.
