List of Xiaomi Phones to Upgrade MIUI 12

MIUI 12 is expected to carry a lot of new features including a revamped user privacy system, overhauled design and updated user interface for all My phones. However, the most important issue among users is the supplementary devices; well, a leak now reveals the Xiaomi and Redmi phone list that will be revised to MIUI 12 in China over the next few weeks. The Chinese company will also switch the MIUI11 base to Android 11 for some phones after Google is releasing Android 11 in Q320, although other phones will stay on Android 10 themselves. Read the Xiaomi list, which will update MIUI 12 in the near future.

A leak from Weibo is seen in Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, Mi CC9, Mi CC9 Pro, Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Variant, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7, Mi 8, Mi 8 Explorer Version, Mi Mix 3, Mi 198 Pro, Mi Mix 2S, Mi Note 3, Mi 10 Pro, Redmi K30 Pro, Mi 9, Redmi K20 Pro, Mi 9 Pro 5G. The next Mi 10 Youth Version is possibly going to boot Android 10-based MIUI 12 out of the box.

Do remember that this list is for China, so the list of supported devices will vary from the global MIUI 12 list. In addition to the recently released ones like Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, phones like Poco F1 and Poco X2 will be added to the list. Xiaomi is also releasing the Redmi Note 9 series in China on April 30 and it is expected that they will come out with MIUI 12 themselves. Although the compatible list of devices has leaked, Xiaomi may announce the exact release date at today’s launch event in China.
