Lenovo is all set to launch its next gaming phone for the Legion in China. The firm has finally revealed the device’s launch date via Weibo. The brand has already announced the smartphone will pack the new and most powerful Snapdragon 865 Plus chipset from Qualcomm. The gaming phone Lenovo Legion will launch in the country on July 22 and the event will kick off at 7:30PM CST, which is 5:00PM in India. Moreover, Lenovo isn’t the only company to launch a gaming smartphone on July 22. Asus has also decided to reveal the new ROG Phone 3 the same day. This launch event will begin at 8:15 PM IST on July 22. If you don’t know, the newly launched Snapdragon 865 + chip will also ship the Asus ROG Phone 3. As for the gaming phone for the Lenovo Legion, it is currently unclear if the company will bring the product to the Indian market as well. Moreover, it was recently reported that on AnTuTu benchmarks, an alleged Lenovo phone with impressive results has been spotted. The device’s scored 648,871 points in total. If previous reports are to be believed, an interesting display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, FHD+ resolution will probably appear on the unit. It could come in with a sampling rate of 270Hz pressure. As well as UFS 3.0 storage protocol, Lenovo possibly opted for LPDDR 5 RAM too. A promo video showed the device will come on the back panel with the text “Stylish outside” and “Savage inside.” The device will also market ZUI 12, based on Android 10, as the skin of the “Legion OS.” Speaking of camera configuration, the front features a 20-megapixel sensor, and the rear features a larger 64-megapixel device.
