As per a source, the smartphone has already obtained Bluetooth SIG certification ahead of its launch. The model number YOK-AN10. was found on the certification website. Honor V40 is expected to debut and go on sale in China on January 22.
As per an inventory listing by a smartphone retailer, spotted by a Chinese publication, the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB capacity version of Honor V40 could be priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 45,000). The smartphone was supposed to be unveiled on January 18, but Honor postponed the launch date to January 22, citing concerns related to the conference location and facilities as the reason. Honor V40 is now expected to debut on January 22 at 10 am (7:30 am IST) and go on sale on the same day at 12 pm (9:30am IST).
As per a post by 91Mobiles, Honor V40 was also spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website before its launch, confirming that the device would have Bluetooth 5.1. Although little else is disclosed in the credential, potential core requirements and Honor V40 information have already appeared online.
