Google Pixel 4a Launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 G and Single Rear Camera

Everyone wanted the Google Pixel 4a to come to life. A lot of reports about the product had been making rounds on the market and on the internet until yesterday. Yet Google eventually launched the device, making The Pixel 4a a toned-down version of the last year’s Pixel 4 edition. The smartphone features Snapdragon 730 G SoC. It is worth noting that it was introduced by Google with a single camera for the front and back. Also though it’s not a flagship product, from a mid-range smartphone, a single camera at the rear is very surprising, but all know that Google phones offer excellent camera performance.

Google Pixel 4a: Specifications and Features

The Google Pixel 4a comes with an OLED display of 5.81 “Full HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels). The Camera has a 19:5:9 aspect ratio. The Pixel 4a has an always-on monitor sponsored by HDR. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 G SoC which is combined with 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It runs out of box on Android 10.

Coming to the single camera at the back of Pixel 4a, a 12MP sensor coupled with an LED Flash is given. In portrait mode, Night Sight and more, the primary sensor can take shots. One of the positive things about Pixel 4a’s primary sensor is it comes with video stabilization functionality. As for selfies shooting front camera, there is an 8MP sensor.

Pixel 4a contains 128 GB of internal storage which can not be further expanded. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is something much missed by many people who still use wired earphones. Google Pixel 4a comes with a battery of 3140mAh which supports 18W of fast charging.

Google Pixel 4a: Expected Pricing in India

The Google Pixel 4a was released for $349 (about Rs 26,300) pricing. There is only one version of the 6GB+128 GB smartphone which is currently only available in the US.
